Andy Lockey is the Honorary Secretary of the RC (UK). Whilst in this role, he has led a whole-scale review of the membership structure for the Council. Prior to this, he was the Chair of the ALS Subcommittee for seven years and steered the evolution of the ALS course through two guideline changes. He has been involved with the RC (UK) since joining the ALS Subcommittee as a doctor-in-training representative in 1999. He is a vocal advocate for training all children in CPR and defibrillator awareness. Andy is a consultant in Emergency Medicine and Director of Medical Education at Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Trust.
