Jonathan Wyllie is a consultant neonatologist and director of neonatology at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough. Dr Wyllie became Vice President of the Resuscitation Council in June 2016. He has a long-standing interest in resuscitation and neonatal haemodynamics as well as an interest in paediatric cardiology. He is the chair of the NLS Subcommittee and the Advanced Resuscitation of the Newborn Infant (ARNI) Working Group, Chair of the ERC NLS International Courses Committee. He was co-chair of the (ILCOR) neonatal task force for the evidence evaluation process of 2010 and is co-chair for the 2015 process. Jonathan is co-author of the newborn resuscitation guidelines for Europe and the UK. In 2010 he was awarded the Fellowship of the ERC.
