Chair, Immediate Life Support (ILS) course Subcommittee
Joyce is a Consultant in anaesthesia and intensive care at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital. She is a NIHR Post Doctoral Fellow and works at University of Birmingham as a Clinician Scientist and part of the Perioperative, Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Trauma Trials group. Her research interests include resuscitation, non-technical skills and peri-operative outcomes. She is a member of ILS and ALS Sub-committee, and an expert reviewer for Interna¬tional Liaison Committee for Resuscitation. Joyce led the working group which has updated the e-ALS course in 2015.
