Kevin was appointed a Lead Educator for the Resuscitation Council (UK) in February 2015 having been an ALS Instructor and course director since 1993 and holding the position of Educator for RC (UK) and ALSG since 2003. He is now a freelance consultant in medical education and Company Director having spent nearly 25 years in the Royal Air Force rising to the rank of Wing Commander and finishing his military career in June 2013 as Commanding Officer of one of the Ministry of Defence Hospital Units.
As an Educator, Kevin has facilitated many courses and amongst his other responsibilities, is Educational adviser to the newly developed Advanced Resuscitation of the Newborn Infant course (ARNI), as well as being a member of the e-ALS review Working Group and occasional adviser to the Advanced Life Support (ALS) Subcommittee. His particular interest is in debriefing candidates engaged in medical simulation.
