Information on courses

The Resuscitation Council (UK) is respected nationally and internationally for the provision of high quality, evidence-based, resuscitation training and training materials for healthcare professionals. We have developed a variety of advanced life support courses in adult, paediatric and newborn resuscitation. Each type of course is developed by a subcommittee of healthcare professionals and educators that is representative of the course candidates.

Annually, over 135,000 healthcare professionals attend these courses taught by instructors who are experienced healthcare professionals who have undergone further training.

The Resuscitation Council (UK) does not provide CPR training for lay people. This type of training is provided by a wide range of organisations such as charities, voluntary ambulance services and private companies.

Training people, saving lives.
