Research and Development Grants

We are keen to promote research into all aspects of the science, practice and teaching of resuscitation techniques, and can provide financial support for research projects.

Grants process for 2019/20

The application process for a RC (UK) Research and Development Grant is now open.

We welcome applications from individuals working in the NHS or a university department within the UK who are committed to generating new knowledge in resuscitation science and education. Applicants will usually be doctors, nurses, resuscitation officers or other professions allied to medicine, who have a credible track record of conducting research projects or who are working under appropriate supervision.

The closing date for submissions is 17:00 on 31 May 2019.

Applications received after this date will not be accepted. However, our research and development grants run on an annual basis, so do consider reapplying for a grant in 2020/21 if you have missed the 19/20 deadline.

Applications must be submitted electronically using our online system.

For full details and criteria please refer to our Research and Development Grant Guidance when completing your form.

All applicants will be notified whether or not they have been shortlisted in August. Shortlisted applications will be reviewed by a panel of experts and applicants will be informed about the final funding decision in early December 2019.
